About AcrosFAQ
What is the Acros film simulation?
Acros is one of Fujifilm's built-in film simulations: a colour and tone profile baked into the camera, inspired by a classic film stock. A recipe takes that simulation as a base and adds the rest of the settings (dynamic range, highlight, shadow, colour, grain, white balance) to finish a specific look. All the recipes above start from Acros.
Which Fujifilm cameras have Acros?
These Acros recipes are most used on the X100V, among others. A film simulation is tied to the sensor generation, so newer bodies have more simulations. Open any recipe to see exactly which cameras it was made for, or browse by body on the cameras page.
How do I use a Acros recipe?
Open a recipe, then save its settings to a custom slot (C1 to C7) on your camera. The fastest way is the free Filmsim app: pick a recipe, connect over USB and it writes every value for you. You can also enter the settings by hand from the recipe page.
